Simon to Speak at Center for Architecture

Centerbrook Architects & Planners principal Mark Simon, FAIA is set to take the stage at the Center for Architecture in New York City on April 27 as part of the “Cocktails & Conversation” series.

Simon will present that evening alongside John Ruble, FAIA of Moore Ruble Yudell Architects and Planners. The conversation will center around the late Charles Moore's lasting influence on the subsequent work of firms he established, including Centerbrook and Moore Ruble Yudell.

Paul Makovsky, the editorial director of Metropolis magazine, is also set to join the conversation.

Cocktails & Conversation is series of dialogues about design that joins an architect with a critic, journalist, curator, or architectural historian to discuss current architecture design issues. Each program includes a custom-crafted cocktail—one inspired by the architect’s work and created especially for this event.

The series’ list of past speakers include Jeanne Gang, Steven Holl, Tom Kundig, and most recently Tod Williams and Billie Tsien.
