The Jackson Laboratory Dedication

The Dedication Ceremony for The Jackson Laboratory for Genomic Medicine will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 7 at 2 p.m. in Farmington, Connecticut. The 173,000-square-foot building, which houses biomedical researchers, technicians and support staff in advanced computing facilities and laboratories, was designed by Centerbrook Architects in collaboration with Tsoi/Kobus & Associates. Connecticut Governor Dannel P. Malloy will be among the guest speakers at the invitation-only event. The new research facility was built by The Jackson Laboratory is a nonprofit research institution and National Cancer Institute-designated Cancer Center based in Maine. Its mission is to “discover precise genomic solutions for disease and to empower the global biomedical community in our shared quest to improve human health.”
