Tolis to Present on Campus Housing

June 20th, 2017

Centerbrook Architects & Planners Principal Ted Tolis will present on evidence-based design for campus housing at the ACUHO-I Annual Conference & Exposition on June 20 in Providence, Rhode Island.

Tolis will co-present on the topic with Larry Wielk, Dean of Students at Sacred Heart University. Tolis was Centerbrook’s project manager for Sacred Heart’s 87,000-square-foot Jorge Bergoglio Residence Hall that opened in September 2016.

Bergoglio Hall will be the focus of the case study presented in this session that will quantify how using evidence-based design results in housing environments directly impact student productivity, safety and security.

The program will take place in the Rhode Island Convention Center in downtown Providence on June 20 at 8:30 a.m.

ACUHO-I stands for the Association of College and University Housing Officers – International. The Annual Conference & Exposition, ACUHO-I’s largest event, brings together campus housing professionals from around the globe for four days of education and networking.
