Tours of Kroon Hall at Yale

October 14th, 2009

Mark Simon is leading group tours this fall of Kroon Hall at Yale, the new home of the School of Forestry and Environmental Studies. Slated for the highest LEED certification (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), the building is expected to use half the energy of a conventionally constructed, comparable academic facility. Simon was the partner in charge for Centerbrook Architects, the Executive Architect on the projects; Hopkins Architects of London was the Design Architect. Simon is giving tours to the Yale Club of New Haven, the Dean’s Council at the Yale School of Architecture and members of the Connecticut Chapter of the American Institute of Architects.

Dates through the fall, contact David Holahan for more details.
