Ohio Paper Previews Temple Project

The Centerbrook design for the expansion and renovation of Temple Tifereth Israel in Beachwood, Ohio was previewed recently by Steven Litt, the architectural critic for the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

The author interviewed officials of the Temple as well as Centerbrook Partner Mark Simon, who is leading the design team.
Work on the project is underway and scheduled to be completed in late 2016. It will encompass worship sanctuaries, classrooms, archives and exhibition spaces, venues for dining, public assembly, and entertainment, offices and support services.

Temple Tifereth Israel has a congregation of more than 1200 members and serves some 465 students.
