Centerbrook in Books

CENTERBROOK, Conn. – A number of Centerbrook projects are profiled in five new books, either recently or soon-to-be published.

Green Architecture Now, Volume II" by Taschen Books features two Centerbrook buildings: Lakewood House, a private residence, and Kroon Hall, the new home for the School of Forestry and Environmental Studies at Yale University. Centerbrook as Executive Architect collaborated on Kroon Hall with the Design Architects, Hopkins Architects of London. Both treatments are well illustrated. Lakewood House previously was published in the book, “21st Century Architecture: Designer Houses.” (Images Publishing)

Kroon Hall also is included in “Sustainable Construction: Green Building Design and Delivery” (John Wiley & Sons) and on the cover of “Plumbing, Electricity, Acoustics: Sustainable Design Methods for Architecture.” (John Wiley & Sons)

The American Library Association’s “Field Guide to Libraries” will use as examples the Arnold Bernhard Library at Quinnipiac University and Health Sciences Library at the University of Colorado, Denver.

The 320,000-square-foot Center for Community at the University of Colorado, Boulder will be profiled in "Building Type Basics for College and University Facilities." (John Wiley & Sons).
