Crematory and Lake

This concept is intended to reinforce the Jerome Avenue entrance to Woodlawn Cemetery with a new lake and associated structures placed near historic Woolworth Chapel. The purpose of these elements is to facilitate acts of cremation and memorialization. Surrounding the lake is a Crematory and several new Gathering Buildings that are situated in ways that facilitate ceremonial use of its waters in accordance with Hindu and other traditions.
