East Lyme Community Center

The East Lyme Library and Community Center brings together the town's public library, senior and youth centers, offices for the Visiting Nurse Association and Parks and Recreation Department, and a multipurpose meeting room in a single civic building. Three open pavilion entrances give the library, senior center, and youth center distinct identities while leading to a shared central lobby.

The library features a grand reading room surrounded by collections, media areas, and children's spaces, including the East Lyme Room, which displays the town's historical collections. Flexible gathering spaces, a full-service community kitchen, and dedicated areas for youth and seniors support a wide range of civic programs and community activities.
