Publications Recognize Centerbrook Works

CENTERBROOK, Conn. – A trio of magazines have published Centerbrook Architects & Planners designs through recent awards programs.

The Pavilion at Grace Church in Providence, Rhode Island, achieved sought-after recognition as a winner in the 2018 Religious Art & Architecture Awards. The Pavilion was one of seven projects worldwide honored in the New Facilities category, and published in the Faith & Form: The Interfaith Journal on Religion, Art and Architecture annual awards issue.

Bedford Square was one of the top 10 projects recognized by Building Design + Construction magazine’s Reconstruction Awards 2018. The high-end, mixed-use development in Westport, Connecticut, garnered Silver recognition by the prominent industry publication and appeared in the November awards issue.

For the second-consecutive year, Centerbrook had a pair of projects featured in the American School & University November/December Architectural Portfolio issue. The Academic Building Addition at UConn Health in Farmington, Connecticut, was recognized as an Outstanding Design in the Specialized Facility category. In the Adaptive Reuse category, Quinnipiac University’s School of Law Center in North Haven, Connecticut, also garnered Outstanding Design designation.
